Here’s what I am taking away from our conversation –

The importance of a positive mindset and attitude.

When it comes to learning languages, immersion is the most effective way of truly absorbing the language.

The significance of diversity in people, thoughts and mindset.

There was a time before smart phones, when the internet was available but not necessarily in our pockets like it is today - when we could really focus on conversations, people and the real world, instead of our phones.

He also reminded us of the value of artificial intelligence, but to always continue to nurture our own intelligence.

Fatih and I share an appreciation of Rumi, the poet and philosopher, and he shared an inspiring Rumi quote- “walk and the path will appear”. I hope you too fall in love with Rumi!

It was just a wonderful chat, and it reminded me of our very first conversation together. It was real, open and authentic. Just my kind of connection. Thanks again my friend!
