They touch on gender roles, unspoken biases that sometimes exist and the feelings experienced by teens when dating with parental involvement. Tiffany talks through her rationale as it relates to dating when it comes to a son versus dating for a daughter and how parents unintentionally create inequitable precedents. It's a lighthearted episode based on their experiences as a family (so this is not the blueprint to follow) but it may present an alternate perspective.

In many of the episodes recorded with her children, Tiffany attempts to create a space where they feel comfortable speaking. This is the key to maintaining open dialogue.
