Ramayan - Lanka Kand (Part 2) continues the dramatic events leading up to the great battle between Shri Ram and Ravan. Before beginning the war, Bhagwan Shri Ram chooses the path of peace and sends Angad, the brave son of Bali, as an emissary to Lanka. Angad’s mission is to give Ravan one final opportunity to return Mata Sita and avoid the destruction that would follow if he continued on the path of arrogance.

Upon reaching Lanka, Angad encounters resistance from the rakshasas and confronts Narantaka, one of Ravan’s powerful sons. A fierce duel takes place, demonstrating Angad’s courage and strength. Even after the battle, Angad tries to make Ravan understand the consequences of his actions and advises him to choose the path of righteousness.

However, Ravan’s pride prevents him from listening. To expose the arrogance of the rakshasas and display the strength of Shri Ram’s allies, Angad plants his foot firmly in the court and challenges anyone in Lanka to move it. Despite their efforts, none of the mighty warriors are able to lift or shift Angad’s foot, symbolizing the unshakable power of dharma.
