Lapper Moves On

The Revs kick off their quest for the US Open Cup as they travel to New Jersey today to take on Red Bull. The one-time Metrostars started slow in 2019, but have amassed a 6-2-1 record since falling to the Revs in April. We’ll preview the match with Mark Fishkin, of the Seeing Red podcast. Former Revs Interim Head Coach Mike Lapper joins us to discuss his time in New England and what he’ll take away with him as he pursues a permanent head coaching position of his own. In a refreshingly candid interview, Lapper opens up about relationships with players, some of the challenges he faced on the job and where he thinks the Revs go from here.
