Election Day is Tuesday. And once again, Americans are being told this is the most important election of their lifetime. Many of them don't like any of the candidates. They're voting anyway.
The Question: If the main reason you vote is fear of what the winner will do to you, what does that say about the power you're helping them hold?
As often as Democrats and Republicans righteously whine about their "rights," NONE of them have anything close to an actual principle. But, oddly, there is some good news related to that.
Our "Candles in the Dark" course can be found here:

The Frame
With the midterms just days away, federal agents have searched the Washington home of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. The investigation reportedly centers on her family's immigration paperwork from decades ago, and a Justice Department filing has now listed her under a different name.
On the left, this is a political hit job. They say the Trump administration is using the Justice Department to intimidate an outspoken opponent right before an election. They point out that these allegations are old and were looked at before. They point to the President's personal attacks on Omar and on Somalis. And they say that if a sitting member of Congress can be raided this way, no critic of those in power is safe.
On the right, this is simply the law being applied. They say no one is above it, not even a member of Congress. They say questions about her name, her family's records, and her citizenship are serious and have never been answered. And they argue that if someone gained citizenship through fraud, she has no business writing laws for everyone else.
Both sides disagree about whether she belongs. But both agree on who should decide: the government, its agencies, its courts, and its voters.
The Question
One side says she was legitimately chosen to rule, and the other side says she wasn't qualified to rule. But with the right paperwork or without it, where would anyone get the right to rule over anyone else in the first place?

Yeeha. In this SECOND episode of "Smashing the Overton Window," Alex Baker and I discuss ways in which people's language and thought are warped, when it comes to the nastiness done by the state.

If I'm for protecting the innocent, and for stopping the nasty people, I must support those who are "tough on crime," right? Nope. Because I know how to think, and I'm no longer a well-trained house slave.

Breaking down the belief in "government" into what it necessarily and inherently means, reveals how utterly bonkers it is.
