Today is August 2, 2016. Travel back with me to this day in 1938. We’re in Brooklyn at Ebbets Field where we’ll watch a double-header between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals, and where Dodger’s General Manager Larry MacPhail will introduce a specially dyed batch of bright yellow baseballs in an effort to spice up the game.
