The new guitar-shaped tower is now 36 floors up, blue glass has already been installed across much of the lower structure, and the project is moving toward a fourth quarter 2027 opening on the former Mirage site. The scale matters here, this will become one of the tallest hotel towers on the Strip and the first Native American-owned casino on the Las Vegas Strip. 

The second major update is the opening of Cadence Crossing Casino in Henderson. Boyd Gaming has opened its first brand-new casino development in the Las Vegas Valley in more than 20 years, built inside the fast-growing Cadence master plan community. That makes this more than a local opening, it is a meaningful development story for the broader Las Vegas market. 

On the entertainment side, Illenium’s Odyssey residency at Sphere anchors the week with a fully immersive experience designed specifically for the venue’s wraparound LED environment. The Great Vegas Festival of Beer brings more than 100 breweries to the Downtown Las Vegas Event Center, while Jeff Dunham performs at Planet Hollywood as one of the week’s most accessible headline shows.
