ABOUT MY GUEST RABBI MENACHEM SALASNIK

Rabbi Menachem Salasnik is a popular speaker and educator who has spent the last eight years teaching and writing about ‘Shemiras HaLashon’, the way we speak to and about other people. He studied in Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh and The Jerusalem Kollel where he received semicha from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits. His motivational and informative weekly Parashah sheets and emails are widely read across the globe.Rabbi Salasnik teaches in seminaries, including Neve Yerushalayim, Midreshet Tehillah, Bnos Avigail, Pninim and Baer Miriam. He has given presentations for shuls and Jewish organizations, and runs workshops for private groups. He is the author of the recently published book Words Change Worlds, exploring what ancient Jewish wisdom has to say about the power of speech.He balances his teaching with his clinic work as a Low Vision and Geriatric Optometrist helping those suffering from eye disease to maximize their remaining vision.
