Last minute moves from Republican Senate candidates ahead of Ohio's March 19 primary
On the latest episode of Ohio Has Issues, the Ohio primary election on March 19 is shaping up to be a hotly contested race between Republican US Senate candidates Matt Dolan, Bernie Moreno and Frank LaRose. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will end up on the ticket to face off against Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown in November.
Stephanie Haney and Mike Polk Jr. dig into the reasoning behind last-minute support being shown to the candidates in the forms of an endorsement from Governor Mike DeWine and a rally being thrown by former President Donald Trump, with USA Today Network reporter Haley BeMiller and NBC national political reporter Henry Gomez.
