Bishop Tim Dailey and Dr. John DelHousaye discuss the subject of "Late Summer Fruit". In the early church, October was a time to enjoy our earthly fruit. It was a time to stop and celebrate the work of God in our lives and the wonderful provisions that He has bestowed on us. 

One early Church father stated, "October gives rest to the weary after the dust and dirt of the summer, its rain washes, its dew anoints the trees and their fruit." (Ephrem the Syrian)

Often in our lives and ministry we give up before we have had a chance to reap the blessing of the latter fruit. This is a time for us to remember how important it is for us to endure and remain faithful until the end of the season that we are in.  It is also important for us to stop often and reflect on God's goodness and provision for us.
