There is a quiet revolution going on in this nation, and I suspect around the world. It is the comeback of the Middle Class. Those working men and women who are fundamentally the engine of the economy.

Throughout this economic downturn, the numbers that have astonished me, are the measures of optimism of the American Consumer, the Middle Class by and large.

In their monthly survey of Consumer Confidence by the University of Michigan, the Confidence currently stands at 80.4%. Think of that over 80% of Americans have a positive outlook on the economy currently. And unheard of number during times of recession.
