Grief is a funny little emotion.  It is complicated and messy.  It shows up in different ways.  I guess that's why they say, Everyone grieves differently.  I mean think about it anger, happiness, sadness those are pretty clear emotions.  For the most part, You can identify them easily in others and in yourself. Oh but grief is something unique to each person.   I want you to keep that in mind as I share my story today.  What I feel is unique to me, it is how I’m walking through this time of loss.  Your journey might look completely different, and that's ok, just like it's completely ok that lately I’ve been holding sadness and peace in the same hand.
