To be a human person is to be one who relates to oneself and at the same time enters into mutual relationships with other human beings and God. These two aspects of human life are united, as a person lives in an ‘I-thou’ relationship with God. Each human being,  is called to discover that “my being an ‘I’ has come about because God is my ‘Thou’. [In other words, my dignity, the dignity of the universe is from my relationship with the Creator]
