Launch Hangout for SpaceX Demo-2 SCRUBBED #LaunchAmerica - 2nd Attempt Saturday | TIS#201

Listen Later

May 27th was the attempted launch of the SpaceX Crew Dragon mission Demo-2 to launch American Astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken to the International Space Station. This is the first launch for #LaunchAmerica - The return of America's ability to launch their own astronauts on US soil for the first time since the Space Shuttle last flew for STS-135 in 2011. It was scrubbed due to weather and an instantaneous launch window. The next launch attempt is this Saturday, May 30th, 2020 @ 3:22 PM EDT. We went live on our Facebook Page /TodayInSpacepodcast for the launch - we'll do the same on Saturday. If you want to learn more about the launch (and hangout) this is GREAT intro to the mission and the spacecraft. Best of luck to the SpaceX and NASA teams on the next attempt to send our Astronauts into Space!
