In Part 2 of this series, we zero in on the moment Peter begins to sink — not because Jesus failed, but because fear took his focus off Jesus. This message confronts the internal and external distractions that pull us away from our purpose. Whether it’s the noise of culture, the weight of insecurity, or the storms of life, the enemy uses distraction and fear to paralyze our faith.

But even when Peter sank, Jesus immediately reached out. That’s the hope we stand on — that grace grabs us even when we lose sight of God. Launching into freedom means learning how to refocus in the middle of the storm, silence fear with faith, and trust that Jesus is stronger than any wave.

This sermon reminds us that the key to walking in freedom is not the absence of storms, but the presence of Jesus in the midst of them.
