Laura Asks About Motherhood

Laura Asks Gabby About Motherhood

Listen Later

Gabby talks about not doubting her ability to parent, even though she was a young mom with her first child, and people told her to place her child for adoption. She talks about how having a child at a young age wasn't a mistake, none of her kids are a mistake. She also talks about the pressure she felt as a young mom.

Gabby shares that having her kids helped her be more open minded about other people, instead of making snap judgments. She shares how her Mexican culture, but raising her kids in the U.S., affects her mothering. She shares that her religious journey includes a blend of Catholicism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and how her spiritual journey affects her mothering. Gabby talks about the difference between being a single mom and being married now. She gushes about her husband, and it is adorable.
