In this episode Emily talks with Laura Boon-Williams, the Lloyd’s Register Foundation Senior Curator of Contemporary Maritime at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, on the eve of a new exhibition at National Maritime Museum on the Sea Empress oil spill on the south-west coast of Wales. They discuss the legacy of the spill, which is a powerful example of how environmental disaster, public mobilisation and policy change intersect, as well as her career in science education.
