Laura is a first-generation racer - the first in her family to race. Laura competed in her first race at age 11 and never looked back, even when her parents were slightly hesitant in the beginning. In a sport that is heavily dominated by men, Laura is one of the few women to be racing. In her rookie season of Late Model Racing - the pinnacle of speedway sedan racing worldwide - she finished 2nd overall in the Winter Series, and is currently competing in the Pro Dirt Series.
