Laura moved from Mexico to China in 2009 and has been living there ever since. She came out as gay once in China and her foreigner status has made this cultural difference somewhat more accepted as she helps strive for continued accepted of LGBTQ+ people. She lives with her girlfriend, Juliet, and they hope to marry when the timing and paperwork is right.
