Human Centered Design, also referred to in its abbreviated acronym, HCD, is an approach to problem solving and commonly used in design and management. This approach engages the people who experience the problem throughout each step of the design process to creating something better. Why is this useful!? Because it enables true co design and when used in the workplace... oooh! It’s magic! Laura Janisse and I have partnered on several HCD projects in the people program arena in an effort to bring a better work experience to those inside companies.
