On this week's show we welcome Laura Madaio. Laura is the founder of Grief Hungry, an Instagram handle, and soon to be website that offers recipe sharing for the grief community. In the summer of 2018, Laura suddenly and tragically lost her beloved father, John, in terrible accident. John was as Laura describes, the cornerstone of their tight knit family, and his sudden passing left a lot to be processed and untangled. In the wake of his death, Laura became an advocate for bereavement leave in the workplace. She also started @griefhungry to combine her love of food and cooking with her traumatic loss.
