Laura Mitchell is a young Sydney woman involved in detective work and investigations for schools and the government related to making sure safety is maintained. The environmental protection act was not really developed until 1997! How does her work impact your life? Stay tuned.

The historical marker is related to US Independence, as well as Lou Gehrig and the 1842 'Mines and Collieries Act' which bans women and children from working underground.
