In reading Azeem Azhar's book Exponential I came across an incredible story of a young scientist that had achieved a breakthrough singlehandedly, with their own initiative and wisdom, discovering a method to increase the accuracy in Cervical Smear Testing.   

That incredible scientist is Laura O'Sullivan, winning her awards at the Young Scientist 2019
