Today I’m talking to Charleston-based lifestyle photographer, Laura Saur. I started following Laura’s career on Instagram a few years ago when she moved from Boston to Charleston for a social media position in the fashion industry, from there she moved into the beauty industry, and now fast forward a few years, Laura is running her own photography business, LCS Studio and just launched her print shop this fall. She’s been featured in Elle Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, and Bon Appétit Magazine. Laura and I chatted about so many things, from understanding your own creative schedule and establishing a healthy working routine around that, to the transition from your girlhood to womanhood dreams to navigating the pressure she felt to pursue a more traditional career path and how she worked through that.
