On Episode 7, I chat with American bobsledder and Olympic Silver Medalist Lauren Gibbs. After feeling unsatisfied with her corporate job and lifestyle, Lauren decided to take a chance and try out for the Olympic bobsled team at 30 years old, and she not only made the team, but went on to win a silver medal at the 2018 Olympic Games. On the episode, Lauren explains the process behind that life changing decision, her training and preparation leading up to the Olympics, and her long-term goals to make an impact on the female athlete community through the online platform @paritynow.
