After Lauren’s murder, The McCluskey’s filed a $56 millon lawsuit against the University of Utah. They believed that Lauren’s murder could have been prevented and even with a thorough investigation showing a history of negligence and not taking Lauren’s concerns seriously, the U of U president was adament they did all they could.
