Sometimes, art is ugly because life frequently is. And sometimes, there's a gentleness to beauty that allows us to look at the things we are afraid of, and make the invisible visible.

I was thinking symbolically the other day that the last place you'd look for evil ("the devil" ... Not the literal devil you guys!!) would be in the peace and beauty of heaven. And, conversely then, the last place you'd ever look for God would be hell. I think that this is what art allows us to do.

This conversation left me with lots on my mind ... But don't worry! It's fun and playful too. I can't wait for you to hear it.
