In Luke 14:1-6, Jesus again joins a pharisee for a meal, this time it's a set up! The Pharisees want to catch him breaking their Sabbath rules. There's just one problem, these man-made regulations do not align with God's Law and have driven these Pharisees far from God's intentions of love through the Law. In Christ, we see the perfect fulfillment and the ultimate provision of God's Sabbath rest and restoration.
