Brittani Booker Pleasant, born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas began her creative journey as a singer in the choir at her father's church at 2 years old. Going on to become one of the youngest members of her mother's recording gospel Choir, the City Wide Youth Choir, she also began playing multiple instruments-- most notably the cello and piano. In high school, she participated in an on campus club sponsored by the local YMCA called youth and government where she traveled Texas participating in mock trial and legislative competitions. After highschool, Brittani went on to attend Texas A&M University Corpus Christi where she majored in Criminal Justice, and minored in Philosphy and English. Because of her background, she also recieved a scholarship for non-music majors in exchange for her participation in the music department. She played in the university symphony, and worked with and tutored students in music theory. After graduating with her 4 year degree in 3.5 years, Brittani went on to take some preparatory courses at in Austin and at the University of Texas at San Antonio before being accepted into St. Mary's School of Law in San Antonio. She graduated from the 3 year Law School program in 2.5 years and passed the Texas State Bar on her first try. She is now the owner and senior attorney of B. Pleasant Law, PLLC. She has settled into San Antonio with her husband and 2 sons, and has opened Judah Academy of the Worship Arts in partnership with her mother and sister. She believes the future is bright, and knows that every success and lesson in her life is because if her Heavenly father and her savior, Jesus Christ.
