Rev. Glenn Goodwin on his weekly Wednesday Bible studies was asked a question that clearly stipulates why we - in the Body of Christ cherish our traditions but have a healthy respect for the law of God - knowing in what place the tradition falls in the word of God.
We have some good traditions in the Body of Christ, but we do not raise it to a level where it becomes a law and that violating it would be like violating the law of God. We have a great respect for the word of God to think that our tradition would be equal to the law of God. Listen to this excerpt of this WBS [starting at minute 21:03 to 31:45] originally live streamed on the Des Moines Gospel Assembly-Church Facebook page.
