Tell Me What Happened

Lawyer Darfour describes his journey from the South Side of Chicago to International Construction Management.

Listen Later

I reconnect with a former student of mine, Lawyer Darfour, whom I met 35 years ago as his sixth grade teacher at St. Thomas of Canterbury, in Uptown, Chicago. Lawyer details his journey from transferring from a South Side of Chicago school to one on the North Side. As he recalls, his experience in Uptown led him to a greater understanding of the ethnic and cultural diversity of the world. Lawyer takes us through his days in high school, college and beyond. His deep understanding of diversity has helped him along the way, up to and including his current employment with an international construction company that has sent him all over the world.
