Layne is a 7 times world champion and the only male or female surfer to win 6 world championships in a row between 1998 and 2003. 

Layne is truly a remarkable person in so many ways successfully dealing with adversity to transition into sustainable holistic living and maintaining incredible performance along the way.

Layne is also an author of the book: Beneath the Waves and founder of her charity: Aim for the Stars - financially supporting young woman to go out there and achieve their dreams.
