It’s a horrible thing, Jesus

to reach the point that one of Your greatest gifts

is despised.

Still, untold millions have been there.

Some have taken matters into their own hands

killing themselves in an attempt to extinguish the pain.

Others have been sorely tempted to do the same

but have placed the end of their lives in Your hands

and discovered that hidden by their pain

was unexpected relief…and a bright, beautiful future.
