Terrifying, Jesus.

It’s bad when the danger is so great

that I dare not go outside.

But when the danger inside is equally great

where can I go?

To You. You. You.

Only to You –

when I’m aware of the danger

and when I’m not.

The sad reality of broken, sinning life on earth?

Danger lurks everywhere.

Most of the time I’m blissfully unaware

because Your loving, mighty Hand

watches over me.
