Speed.

That’s the gift You gave him, Jesus.

Used wisely, it could have taken him a long way.

Unfortunately, he had more speed than wisdom

and it took him the wrong way –

costing him his life.

What gift have You given me, Holy Spirit?

Am I using it wisely?

O God! Lead me! Guide me! Direct me!

lest I use Your precious gift foolishly

and bring about my own ruin.
