Talk about a tough assignment, Jesus!

You’ve just informed Moses

that You aren’t going to fulfill his dream.

Now You’re telling him to encourage the person

who’s going to get to do it.

Apparently, You like that sort of thing in a person –

to see me cheer on the person

who gets to do what I always wanted to do

trusting that You know what’s best for them

and me.
