Hi everyone! Welcome back to THE FATHERLY EDITION, today I had the chance to interview Laze Tripkov. We meet last year at one Design Education Conference. We talked about the value of being a father, and how society's expectations somehow can mould our decisions.

After returning back to Macedonia, he became active in the advertising sector and one year later he became a father of a beautiful daughter (2005) which inspired his work and design activity. Starting of as a freelancer, organizes few solo exhibitions and initiated the Macedonian Graphic Design Association, where he still serves as a director. The love of his family flourished in 2010 with a baby boy, setting new limits and explorations in design research and become faculty professor teaching major subject like basis of graphic design and poster design. During his professional carrier he was separated from his family for a certain period of time in 2013, spending time in Montenegro, organizing, facilitating and managing a private faculty of art design in the capital city of Podgorica. Till 2016 he was vice dean of the faculty and had to spend more active time with his family back home.
His daughter is his biggest inspiration, and together they have made several posters - one of them is in the University Hospital in Warsaw, and a few others in private collections – His son is more sports-oriented, so every weekend he is dedicated to his activities.
