The Vikings are one of three teams to be undefeated and their kicker has scored more points than the offense as a whole. Gabe and Carter break down a 15-10 win over the Dolphins where Will Reichard went five for five and Minnesota never reached the end zone.
Reichard hit from 47, 50, 33, 41 and 29 to account for every Minnesota point, running his streak to 31 straight made field goals, the longest active run in the NFL. T.J. Hockenson tied his career high with 13 catches for 119 yards and then slid at the 2 instead of scoring so the team could ice the game. Kyler Murray finished 27 of 37 for 247 yards without a turnover and had his best quarter as a Viking in the fourth quarter. The team lost left guard Donovan Jackson to a torn meniscus and he will need to have season ending surgery, with Christian Darrisaw in concussion protocol.
Gabe and Carter talk about if this is the best defense in the league, Dallas Turner's two additional sacks this week, how often Kyler played in the shotgun and how Kevin O'Connell is reshaping the offense around Murray. Finishing up with Carter's case for why trading for Justin Herbert would just be Kirk Cousins 2.0.

The Vikings are 3-0 to start the season and while the defense has looked elite the offense has some serious question marks with it. Gabe and Carter break down a 23-16 win in Tampa where the offense went missing, then get into the J.J. McCarthy trade that landed a day later.
Myles Price took a punt 86 yards for a touchdown, Kyler Murrya hit Jordan Addision for a 41 yard score and Will The Thrill was consistent as always. Justin Jefferson left in the first quarter with a right ankle sprain and the running back still concerns Gabe and Carter. Then on Monday, Minnesota sent McCarthy to the Giants for a 2027 5th round pick.
Gabe and Carter dig into the fit of Murray in the O'Connell offense, some of his struggles on Sunday and what watching the team on Sunday felt like. Finally, getting into the McCarthy trade and where the 2027 quarterback room goes from here.

No Touchdowns, goal line fumble, a blocked kick, and a sack to end a defensive centered game. The Vikings beat the Bears 9-3 in a Soldier Field swamp to start off 2-0, take the lead of the NFC North, and Gabe and Carter could not be happier watching some old school football.
One week after Chicago dropped 59 points on Carolina, Brian Flores' defense held them to just three points. Jalen Redmond punched the ball out of D'Andre Swift's hands at the goal line, Isaiah Rodgers recovered it and later blocked the game tying field goal, and Dallas Turner sacked Tyson Bagent on the final play after Caleb Williams left with a hamstring injury. Aaron Jones carried 23 times for 105 yards, and Carson Wentz protected the ball in his second start before Kyler Murray returns from concussion protocol for week 3.
Gabe and Carter also get into the Dallas Turner Defensive Player of the Year push, the young defensive line of Domonique "Big Citrus" Orange and Caleb Banks, the Vikings becoming the first team in NFL history to win four straight with four different starting quarterbacks. Different trade rumors and hopeful trades for the backfield, a run through of the next games, and the best broadcast booth in the NFL.

The Vikings lost their new starting quarterback on the third drive and still pulled off a win at home to start the season. Gabe and Carter break down the 39-22 comeback over the Green Bay Packers that swung on a fourth and one stop and the most aggressive defensive game plan in the league.
Kyler Murray exited in the first quarter with a concussion. Carson Wentz came in and went 12 of 19 for 133 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. Justin Jefferson caught eight of nine targets for 92 yards, two scores and a two point conversion. Matching his entire 2025 touchdown total in just one afternoon. Brian Flores blitzed Jordan Love on 78.3 percent of his dropbacks, leading to a long day for him in the pocket.
Gabe and Carter get into Dallas Turner's monster game, why the cornerback room is still the scariest part of this roster, rookie nose tackle Domonique "Big Citrus" Orange making the play that flipped the game script, Max Bredeson's blocking in the new run game, missed face mask calls, the start of Count Brosmer, and Carter's case for the Vikings to draft an exciting running back in the 2027 draft. Harrison Smith is back in purple this year. Minnesota signed its longtime safety on a one year deal a week before the home opener, and Gabe and Carter open the show on what a 15th season looks like for a player sitting on 39 career interceptions.
From there it's the full accounting of everything between cutdown day and September 6th. The Vikings waived 24 players and terminated four veteran contracts on August 30th, kept four quarterbacks on the initial 53, then waived Max Brosmer to sign him to the practice squad. Eight of nine 2026 draft picks made it to the active roster, with seventh round center Gavin Gerhardt the lone exception. Gabe and Carter break down some other trades, roster moves, and the notable signing of Kyle Van Noy to the team.
Then the quarterback room. Carson Wentz turned up as QB2 on a blurry depth chart in a J.J. Watt photo, Vikings social media went crazy, and Gabe and Carter discuss what the J.J. McCarthy trade market would actually look like.
Finally, they move on to a preview of the home opener. The Vikings opened as a short home favorite, with multiple Packers players out or questionable for Week 1. Plus, what they are going to be watching for the Vikings in Week 1. Ending with a talk about a $200 rivalry sweatshirt. Would you pay $200 for a rivalry sweatshirt? If you got it, let us know in the comments whether it's worth the money.
Vikings wrap up the preseason with a 34-6 beatdown courtesy of the Denver Broncos. Gabe and Carter spend the bulk of this episode on the 53-man roster. Recorded Sunday prior to the official cuts.
Also in this episode: McCarthy's ankle and why sitting out the finale looked worse than the injury itself, Jacob Thomas going down on the seventh play, Jamal Adams out for the season, Demond Claiborne working into the rotation, Domonique Orange and Caleb Banks up front, the punter battle nobody else will talk about, and no word on Harrison Smith. Two weeks until the team meets the Packers for the season opener.
Vikings lose 13-3 to the Ravens in week 2 of the preseason, Gabe and Carter go straight to the J.J. McCarthy question. Five of ten, for 81 yards with only one quarter of playing time, in that time he sent a 50-yard missile to Tai Felton, then sailed a pass over a wide open Myles Price. Do we already have the answer to McCarthy?
Also in this episode, why the Vikings defense is putting on a showcase, Domonique Orange dropping back into coverage at 322lbs, Caleb Banks' Week 2 rebound, Demon Claiborne's speed and other storylines surrounding the team. Carter does some research live on air for a fun fact in Vikings kicker history. New episodes every week as the season goes on!
