Welcome to Housing at High Speed, the podcast where we bridge the gap between the human pain of the housing crisis and the industrialized systems required to solve it.

For over 18 years, system architect Steven Haylestrom has been in the trenches of modular and offsite construction, witnessing firsthand how the lack of affordable homes creates real life impacts on families and communities across Canada. We know the "why" - the supply gap, the rising costs, and the real-life struggle of many simply trying to find a place to call home. This podcast is about the how. The how of solving this challenge with practical, pragmatic real life solutions

Guided by Steven's career-long expertise and supercharged by an AI-augmented a vast complex database and research engine, we conduct a technical and human audits of our broken construction systems. We move past the "linear chaos" of the past and provide a pragmatic, "get it done" roadmap for the Housing at High Speed system.
