Bookshop.org is an online marketplace where you can purchase books in many different formats (e-book, physical book, physical book w/ large print, and audio) while supporting independent bookstores.

Instead of using Goodreads (owned by Amazon) you can try The Storygraph app! It's black woman owned and helps track your reading for the year, allows you to do buddy reads with friends, and so much more. It's free but there is an option for $4.99 a month that allows you to help keep the app free, independent, and it that helps make the app and site more user friendly as well.
