[Every Wednesday @12PM we will discuss important information about your web presence.] Now that we attract visitors, how do we keep them and how do we build contacts when we are not online. In this episode we will share ways to build an email list through what is called "Lead Generation".

Collect email addresses

Email is one way to communicate. How do you get those valuable email addresses? Place them strategically on every page of your website, mostly at the header so every page that the visitor goes, it will be visible.

Create Sign Up Forms

Here’s how you can collect email addresses and other contact info on your website:

Include a contact form. Visitors will fill out the form on your site because they have a question, need information, or want you to contact them. It’s where they go to connect directly with you.

Add a sign-up form for visitors to receive information about products and services, updates, discounts, etc. Include an email opt-in box on your checkout page.

Give a special offer for joining the email list. simple, right? Most popular website builders include a contact form in the template, and WordPress offers some good contact form plugins like Gavity forms, WP forms to name a few. Generating leads is one way to build a digital footprint on cyberspace.
