Peter was chosen by Jesus to be a leader in the church but Peter had a lot to learn before he could lead well. But that’s what Jesus does! He calls us just as we are and then transforms us into the men and women He’s created us to be. It’s been said before that God doesn’t call the qualified but He qualifies the called. Peter would go on to follow Jesus and change the world in the process. God is still looking for men and women to simply follow Him as He builds His Church through them as His leaders. Everyone is leading someone! Let’s lean into Peter’s heart and seek to let Jesus use us for His glory and other's good!
