Warning: This episode covers the topic of human trafficking and may be triggering to some.
Diversity, especially amongst Americans, is a crucial misunderstanding.
Being able to appreciate and recognize cultural diversity is key in many aspects of helping build foundations, but especially in human trafficking. From being able to recognize signs, to the appropriate approach to after care can all be traced back to the culture of all involved.
Kelli White leads this L.E.A.D. discussion on human trafficking and our different cultural backgrounds and normalcies as they relate to human trafficking, how we need to work to identify barriers and to overcome them, and the problem with the "numbers".
