David was a good leader but failed to inquire of God about the Ark, and how it should be moved which resulted in Uzzah dying. After reading the above passages  I realize that being a good leader is not just about influence. Because one can influence people to jump off a cliff, and where does that leave everybody? DEAD... Ultimately we are following God's word because he created this world...from his WORD! If we're not following God's word, I don't care how much influence a leader has, because it will only lead to death. The quotes " Readers are Leaders" stands out to me, because one needs to go back and read the history before they can build a solid future. There is so much wisdom from the past, and we should use it to make wise decisions about the future
