Like behaviors, there are numerous leadership styles. After years of research and working with companies and individuals from various cultures and backgrounds, I have realized the significance of both positive and negative leadership styles.
In the 1930s, psychologist Kurt Lewin developed his framework, which serves as the basis for numerous subsequent approaches. He asserted that there are three primary leadership styles: autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire.
The Blake-Mouton Managerial Grid, published in the 1964 highlights the most appropriate style to use, based on your concern for your people and your concerned for production or tasks.
Bottom line?
First, analyze and discover your own.
Then, your teammates, coworkers, and employees.
Always keep in mind that knowledge should be shared.
