Today we will examine the leadership behind the work of Royal Priests in the New Testament. We will see how Christ was exemplifying the New Temple as God With Us, Emmanuel. Here men were finding the healing and forgiveness they had found through sacrifices and offerings to the Priest. But now, in Christ's day, men could not find healing or forgiveness at the temple even when they laid there for days on end. The impotence of the temple came because the worship of God, the actual Levitical administration was not being kept. God's power would not come through a Babylonian Synagogue, a man appointed Sadducee or a Pharisees of Mysticism. God would not be counterfeit. So Jesus became that temple, and now we are re temple that He dwells in to serve humanity. It is a leadership that must always put the care of God's people first.
