One of the hardest parts of being a Christian in today's world is to figure out how to live out our faith in the midst of being an American in 2016. The early prophets predicted that when Christ was born, the government would be upon HIS shoulders. Indeed, his clash with the political and religious authorities reminds us of some of our relgious and political leaders and us as followers trying to navigate the very tricky intersection of these two things today.
