Gavin is the national Director of YFC, a ministry working with over 250,000 young people a month in schools, prisons and churches. He is a theology graduate, ordained evangelist, author of 4 books and regular public speaker.

Gavin Calver has been appointed director of mission/England at the Evangelical Alliance. He will leave his current role as national director of Youth for Christ (YFC) to take up his new appointment on 1 June 2015.
