What is leadership communication and why the heck does it matter to me? You’re probably thinking this right now. I know I would be. I’d be thinking I know what leadership is and I know what communication is soooooo what can you possibly teach me? Well, I’m hoping a whole lot! A focus on leadership communication empowers you to take small, but meaningful steps at making your work life what you want it to be….rather than what it may be or has been. Today on the Communicative Leader we’re going to dive right into the connection between leadership and communication.
In this episode, we're going to focus on three key ideas:
1. The yardstick used to assess your leadership ability is your ability as a communicator
2. Not only is communication the measure used to assess your leadership ability, but it is also the most accessible and powerful tool you have!
3. Finally, employees are very, very savvy in terms of discerning managers’ behavior.
