Why do some words excite a team and others do not?  Continue to point toward the vision or distract?  It is because the words a leader uses can either propel your church or team toward embracing your vision or totally derail the train.  

Here in his episode of the Seats to Streets Podcast, Host JR Horn and Co-Host Brian Gorman have a conversation about specific words and phrases a leader must master the use of.  The words we as leaders chose to use are more powerful than we think!

The next time you are introducing your team, instead of saying "Sally works FOR me." use the phrase "Sally works WITH me."  Watch Sally light up as her place on the team was just affirmed and shown to be valuable.    

Master these phrases, use them regularly.  Don't be shocked if in a few months you see yourself and your team grow stronger together.
